We are a music promotion firm that caters to promoting artists or labels releases (EPs, LPs, Albums & Mixtapes). SLIM is an acronym for ‘Support Local Independent Music'.

Why Choose SLIM Promo Concepts to promote my release?

We strictly cater for our own South African artist/labels. We help you have online presence and get your release noticed. We have a variety of digital mags and blogs that we have built a relationship with and you will also get feedback for your release. We also minimize your promotion efforts letting you worry about other duties for your release.

What do I need to submit for my EPK to be distributed?

Your entire release in digital format, music in MP3 320kbps, Album Cover (High Res), 3-5 Professional photos (No low quality pics will be accepted e.g phone pics, home camera pics), a write up on the release. (Please submit your release 4 weeks in advance before your release date). (* High Res Minimum 1000 x 1000)

How long will my release promo campaign last?

Four weeks straight.

How will I know if the promo campaign was effective?

You will get a full feedback report at the end of the campaign on where you were featured as well as what editors, writers thought of your release (which can also be added to your profile for good reviews).

What genres do you do promos for?

Our strongest points right now are House/Dance, Hip Hop, Kwaito, African Pop and other urban genres (Please do inquire with us first).

How do I go about getting my songs mastered?

Submit a 30 seconds sample on one song in WAV we will master it for free, after your approval we will go ahead and sending us your entire release for mastering.

Do I need to be a well-known artist to use your services?

No, just be professional with the presentation of your work, from your music to your branding. Create a selable package of yourself.
